Synopsis: Another entrant in the genre of “white America” in which a family member goes rogue, ostracized for their beliefs and the eventual reconciliation. A well made movie that centers around a low/middle class family living in the American heartland when “Uncle Frank”, brother of the family patriarch, ventures outside of his comfort zone and finds a teaching job at New York University – where subsequently his precocious and curious niece follows suit and attends the same college, as a student. A fish out of water having left her home for the very first time, she discovers a taboo secret her Uncle has been hiding from the family and what follows makes you want to keep on watching till the very end.
