Synopsis: A young bearded man (Jesus like) has arrived in the Middle East, proclaims himself as the “Messiah” and performs a myriad of miracles to convince the public that he is for real. Series revolves around this character, played brilliantly by Mehdi Dehbi, and his mysterious, yet captivating persona and how he slowly manages to convince the world he is the next coming. FBI, Mossad, etc are after him, convinced that he is a fraud. The cat and mouse chase keeps you hooked from episode to episode, trying to figure out if he really is the “Messiah” or not.
