Based on one of the most infamous college scandals in US history that was unearthed by the Feds in March 2019, this docu-movie details the story of ring leader Rick Singer who accepted large sums of money from affluent parents to help their kids get into the college of their choice using fraudulent schemes. Lori Loughlin (Aunt Beckie from Full House fame), her husband Mossimo Giannulli and actress Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives) were the big names apprehended as willful participants in this scam. Operation Varsity Blues is a mix of actual voice recordings of the characters involved and re-enactments by actors which allows the viewer to see how exactly it all unfolded.
