A solid entry into the comedy murder mystery genre. What a fantastic idea to team up an unlikely cast of characters in a perfect ensemble. A murder occurs in a NYC apartment building and three inquisitive residents – Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez (crime podcast junkies) take it upon themselves to be nosy neighbors to find out whodunnit.
The three work on the case in secret, in parallel with the official police investigation.
A strong cast and script allows for the audience to enjoy “Only Murders” with an abundance of laughs, suspense and sorrow – ingredients for a top tier show.
