Synopsis: True story based on a podcast about a woman, Debra Newell who meets a charming guy, John Meehan from a dating website who turns out to be a fraud and a mentally disturbed individual. Debra’s elder daughter is skeptical of John from the get-go but Debra continues giving him the benefit of the doubt. Soon John makes their lives a misery and they are trapped in his spiral of deceit, lies and survival. Season 2 will be released in June 2020.
