Synopsis: A low key, dead pan British comedy/drama produced, directed and starring Ricky Gervais as a recent widower (Tony) who contemplated suicide as he couldn’t bear living without his wife (died of cancer) but then decides to live on with a no care attitude. He works at a local free newspaper where he tries to be as miserable and sarcastic as possible to his co-workers but slowly realizes that he is creating some sort of friendships and bonds along the way and realizes maybe life is worth living.
