A “comedy” that starts off favorably before petering into a convoluted plot line with no purpose. Despite boasting a strong cast (Will Ferrell and Julia Louis Dreyfus) – it does keep you engaged for the first 30 minutes or so before losing it’s way and the audience. The director should have kept it as a family ski vacation family movie instead of meandering into the whole adult themed hotel and marital conflicts. The film was not cohesive whatsoever and lost its identity along the way. A time pass movie, nothing to write home about.
