Seeing a huge banner of “The Undoing” with Hugh Grant and Nicole Kidman splashed across a New York City bus peaked my curiosity so I thought, why not give it a shot – and boy was I happy I did. Set in Manhattan, the show has a gorgeous look and feel to it and add a murder in the mix creates for some riveting viewing. The show does have it’s flaws and several head scratching “how did that happen” moments, but with a star studded cast of Hugh Grant, Nicole Kidman and Donald Sutherland, those flaws can be ignored for the most part. There is just something missing to elevate the show to the caliber of Big Little Lies and other similar, however the series is only 6 episodes long – short and sweet.
